Human rights directorate set up at Uzbek Interior Ministry

Uzbek Interior Ministry created a human rights directorate instead of the department for protecting human rights.

The directorate was formed to step up the work in this field in line with the presidential resolution on an action plan dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
