Health train sent to Surkhandarya

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ecology and health organization Ecosan sent a health train with humanitarian cargo to Surkhandarya region, the organization said in a press release.

The aid contains warm clothes, footwear and other consumer goods, as well as medical products. They will be distributed among the low-income families, schoolchildren, disabled and social objects.

Ecosan sent 27 railway and road trains with humanitarian aid to various regions of Uzbekistan worth a total of 1.7 billion soums in 2008.
