Head Honchos President to Visit Uzbekistan on H-2A Program

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Head Honchos President Todd Miller will visit Uzbekistan in August 2026 to discuss cooperation within the framework of the H-2A seasonal agricultural visa program, the Dunyo news agency reported.

The visit will take place as part of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States’ efforts to expand opportunities for Uzbek citizens to obtain legal employment in the United States and simplify participation in the H-2A program.

During the talks, the parties plan to discuss the recruitment of Uzbek citizens for seasonal agricultural work in the United States, as well as the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Head Honchos.

Under the planned agreement, the sides intend to organize training for specialists based on the requirements of U.S. employers, provide professional training for candidates and expand opportunities for legal employment in the United States through H-2A visas.

During the visit, the U.S. delegation will travel to Tashkent, as well as the Bukhara and Ferghana regions. Company representatives will familiarize themselves with the activities of agricultural enterprises, farms and other participants in the agricultural sector.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan said cooperation under the H-2A program is aimed at improving mechanisms for employing Uzbek citizens in the United States and creating additional opportunities for safe and legal seasonal employment.

The H-2A program allows foreign workers to be recruited for temporary or seasonal agricultural jobs in the United States.
