Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan Foreign Ministers Discuss Agenda

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev on 23 July 2026 in the city of Cholpon-Ata.

During the talks, the sides noted with satisfaction that relations of friendship, good-neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan continue to develop and are reaching a qualitatively new level.

The ministers paid special attention to the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.

The foreign ministers confirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation within the framework of the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Organization of Turkic States, the Non-Aligned Movement, and other multilateral formats.

In addition, the sides reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral visits and joint events planned at various levels.
