German envoy holds talks with Uzbek culture and sport minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan Tursunali Kuziev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany Aristid Emil Fenster, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.

During the meeting, the sides considered perspectives of developing bilateral relations in culture, art and sports.

Aristid Emil Fenster said that the meeting was fruitful. He said that the sides discussed main directions of cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany. He said that culture plays key role in bilateral relations.

German envoy said that the sides reached agreement to pay more attention to cultural relations. He said that the sides considered many projects. German Embassy in Tashkent will do its best to ensure successful implementation of these projects.
