Fruit and vegetable processing company opens in Surkhandarya region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new small enterprise processing fruit and vegetables was commissioned in Uzun district of Surkhandarya region, UzA reported.

The enterprise, which has modern equipment, is capable of processing 10 tonnes of products per day.

Currently, it produces tomato paste and grape syrup. By the year-end, the company plans producing goods worth about 200 million soums.

The major share of the production will be exported, the report said.
