Uzbekistan Fixed Capital Investment Up 17.5% in H1 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In Uzbekistan, the volume of investment in fixed capital from all sources of financing totaled 338.9 trillion soums in January–June 2026, the National Statistics Committee reported. Compared to the same period last year, the indicator grew by 17.5%.
Foreign investments and non-guaranteed foreign loans accounted for the largest share in the financing structure, reaching 235.6 trillion soums.
Enterprises' own funds accounted for 38.6 trillion soums of utilized investment. Foreign loans guaranteed by the Republic of Uzbekistan totaled 23.4 trillion soums, while population funds amounted to 19 trillion soums.
A total of 16 trillion soums was allocated from the republican budget for investment in fixed capital. Commercial bank loans and other borrowed funds totaled 4.8 trillion soums, and funds from the Reconstruction and Development Fund amounted to 1.4 trillion soums.
