French envoy holds talks with Uzbek mufti

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Jacques-Henry Heuls held negotiations with Chairperson of Uzbekistan Muslims Board Mufti Usmanhon Alimov on 24 June 2014.

The meeting helped French envoy to familiarize with activities of Uzbekistan Muslims Board within Uzbekistan and international level, situation with Islam in Uzbekistan and training religious specialists.

Ambassador said that France is expressing interest in spiritual and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
