FIFA ranking: Uzbekistan jumps three places up

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan national team moved three places up in the ranking and holds the 71st place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the sixth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran, South Korea, Japan and Australia, as well as UAE are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Belgium topped the FIFA ranking. Germany and Argentina share the second and third places respectively.
