Ferghana region’s GRP grows by 0.1% in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Gross regional product in Ferghana region of Uzbekistan increased by 0.1% in the first quarter of 2010, the deputies of Ferghana region said in their meeting.

The retail trade turnover rose by 13.6% and rendered services volume grew by 17.2%, constriction works – 25.9% and consumer goods production – 1.3%.

Enterprises of Ferghana region exported products and services for US$80 million. Within localization programme, 34 enterprises produced goods for 40 billion soums, UzA reported.
