Event dedicated to Malik Nabiev held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National Art Center in Tashkent hosted an event dedicated to national painter, academician and professor Malik Nabiev (1916-2008) on 17 February 2011. The event is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Malik Nabiev.

Within the night, a documentary film was demonstrated. Friends, relatives and students of Nabiev participated at the event.

The event will also include exhibition of Malik Nabiev’s son and grandson – Husan Nabievand Anvar. The exhibition “Generation” was organized by Fund Forum and Association “IJOD”.

The organizers noted that the exhibition will be held till 12 March 2011.
