EU envoy holds talks at MFERIT

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 June 2014, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Head of the European Union delegation in the Republic of Uzbekistan Ambassador Yuri Sterk.

During the negotiations there were discussed the issues of further expansion and mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, investment, financial and technical fields.

The sides also considered organization of the meetings of “Uzbekistan – EU” Cooperation Committee and Subcommittee on Trade and Investments, as well as the Forum of business communities in the framework of establishing the Uzbek-European Council on Foreign Investments and Trade.
