Earthquake in Afghanistan shakes Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) --
An earthquake with epicenter in Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan was registered in Tashkent at 01:06 on Wednesday, 13 January 2016.
According to the data of the European-Mediterranean Seismology Center, the magnitude at the epicenter was 5.8.
The epicenter was located about 550 km away from Tashkent in Hindu Kush mountains (Afghanistan).
Power of underground tremors in Tashkent was 2-3 points, Tashkent seismic station said.
