Driver who failed to yield to a child at a crosswalk stripped of license for one year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A video circulated on social media yesterday from the city of Shahrisabz showing a schoolboy narrowly avoiding a speeding Damas car while crossing at a pedestrian zebra crossing.

The offender turned out to be a 68-year-old man who evaded law enforcement for 24 hours.

He has been stripped of his driving license for one year and fined 25 basic calculation units (10.3 million soums).
