Dmitry Shokin wins gold medal of Grand Prix in Manchester

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Member of Uzbekistan national WTF taekwando team Dmitry Shokin won Manchester 2015 WTF World Taekwondo Grand-Prix Series 3 in Great Britain.

Reigning World Champion and winner of Universiade Dmitry Shokin defeated all his opponents and reached final. He faced Rafael Castillo of Cuba.

The Uzbek fighter Shokin clinched a victory over his opponent in extra time. He won the gold medal of the tournament and 40 points to participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
