Denis Istomin wins first match in Miami

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan booked his place in the second round of the Sony Ericsson Open-2010 qualifiers, which is taking place in Miami.

Top-seeded Istomin, 23, faced India’s Yuki Bhambri from India.

The match lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes and Denis Istomin won the match with the score 6/1 and 6/3.

Istomin now will play Swiss Stephano Boli in the second round and the winner will book place in the main draw.
