Denis Istomin advances to next round of AEGON Championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin advanced to the second round of AEGON Championships – 2013 in London, Great Britain.

In the first round, Denis Isomin, No. 14 seeded at the tournament, defeated Andrei Kuznetsov from Russia in straight sets – 7:6(2), 7:6(3).

The match lasted an hour and 36 minutes. Both players recorded one break point. Denis Istomin served 11 aces against 8 of Kuznetsov.

Kuznetsov committed two double faults, and Denis Istomin made mistake in his serve three times.

In the second round Denis Istomin will face Igor Sijsling of the Netherland.
