Davis Cup: Istomin wins, Dustov loses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and China played their first single matches on Friday within the tie of the Davis Cup’s Group 1 Asia/Oceania zone. After the first day, the score is 1-1.

Uzbekistan’s No. 1 Denis Istomin clinched victory in the match against Di Wu – 2/6, 6/3, 7/5 and 6/4.

In the second match, Farrukh Dustov lost to Ze Zhang 6/4, 0/6, 7/5 and 6/3.

On Saturday, Istomin will pair with Dustov to play against Mao-Xin Gong and Zhe Li.
