Courts to consider children adoption cases

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan will consider a draft law “On introduction changes and amendments to the Civil Procedural Code of Uzbekistan and Family Code of Uzbekistan directed at improving family institute” in the first reading.

The draft law was developed to execute State Programme of the Year of Family and envisages to introduce changes and amendments to set judicial order of consideration of children adoption in Uzbekistan.

It is expected that new order will help to protect rights of children and foster parents, ensure adoption secrecy, prevent violation of law, develop and improve family institute, taking into account national peculiarities and modern requirements.
