Concert of Claude Debussy music takes place in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A concert dedicated to the 150th birth of French composer Claude Debussy has been held at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan on 1 November 2012.

Pianist François Chaplin, who is considered as the best performer of Claude Debussy, gave the concert in Tashkent along with violoncellist François Salque and opera singer Delphine Haidan.

The concert was organized by Embassy of France in Uzbekistan, French Institute in Uzbekistan and Fund Forum.

The concert included works of Claude Debussy, Charles François Gounod, Reynaldo Hahn, Gabriel Urbain Fauré and Jules Émile Frédéric Massenet. The concert presented works of Claude Debussy, as well as his teachers and students.
