Compression booster station at Gazli to be launched soon

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegas said on 16 November that testing compression booster station with the capacity of 3 billion cubic meters of gas at Gazli deposit completed.

The company said currently balancing and commissioning are underway at the deposit. It added that Kukdumalakgaz is contractor.

The cost of the project, which was included to targeted investment programme for 2008, is over 200 billion soums (about US$100 million).

The company said the project implementation will increase exploitation term of deposit and ensure additional growth of gas mining.
