Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Delegations from Russian regions visiting Ferghana region to participate in the III Meeting of the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia toured Narimteks LLC, a garment factory in Margilan.

They were accompanied by Ferghana Region Governor Khairullo Bozorov.

The company has been operating since 2008 and specialises in the production of women’s clothing. The enterprise currently employs 250 people.

Production processes at Narimteks are being improved in line with modern requirements. The company uses European technologies and modern methods for cutting, finishing and sewing garments.

The company’s range includes around 7,000 models across more than 50 types of products. The enterprise produces dresses, suits, vests, coats and jackets.

Modern design solutions and styles are taken into account when developing products. Narimteks clothing is sold not only on the domestic market but also exported to Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

During the visit, the Russian representatives familiarised themselves with the organisation of production, the technologies used and samples of finished products.

The sides paid particular attention to prospects for increasing exports, entering new markets and developing cooperation between Ferghana region and Russian regions in the light industry sector.
