Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Delegations from Russian regions that arrived in Ferghana region to attend the third meeting of the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia visited the Quva Agro Star agricultural complex in Quva district.

The enterprise has established an integrated system combining the cultivation of agricultural products with their storage, sorting, processing and packaging, followed by their export to international markets.

The complex covers 3.5 hectares. Its production facilities can grow and prepare up to 5,000 tonnes of products annually across 12 types.

The enterprise has an in vitro laboratory and a nursery capable of producing more than 1 million seedlings a year. Foreign technologies and accumulated international experience are used in production.

An Agro-Industrial School operates at the complex for farmers and the local population, providing training in modern horticultural technologies.

The site also has a cold storage facility with capacity for up to 3,500 tonnes of products. Sorting, packaging and IQF shock-freezing lines have been installed at the enterprise.

Equipment using technologies from Italy and Spain allows fruit and vegetable products to be prepared in accordance with the requirements of export markets.

Quva Agro Star products are exported to Japan and the United Kingdom. In 2025, the enterprise organised exports to Japan and South Korea for the first time using air charter flights.

More than 80 employees currently work at the enterprise.
