Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 15 May, Chairperson of the Senate of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva held a meeting with a delegation led by President of the Utah State Senate, Stuart Adams.
During the conversation, both parties highlighted the positive momentum in Uzbekistan–U.S. relations, particularly with regard to expanding parliamentary engagement.
Special recognition was given to the activities of the Congressional Uzbekistan Caucus in the U.S. Congress, as well as the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Group under the Oliy Majlis.
The discussions focused on key areas of bilateral cooperation, including experience-sharing in legislative processes, implementation of educational and social initiatives, and expanding partnerships within the framework of parliamentary diplomacy.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States, including the development of regional and inter-parliamentary ties.
