Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Central Bank of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives from the U.S. Transnational Research Corporation and several investment companies.
During the event, discussions focused on Uzbekistan’s current macroeconomic conditions and future forecasts, as well as the measures being implemented in monetary policy and inflation reduction. Key indicators of the external sector and recent developments in the country’s banking and financial system were also addressed.
The interest of the investment companies centered on the market for government securities. Detailed explanations were provided on the mechanisms for purchasing government bonds in the domestic market, along with plans to improve infrastructure in this area.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their intent to continue cooperation.
