Cash payment system for public transport in Tashkent to be abolished

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From January 2021, Tashkent plans to abolish the cash payment system for public transport. Cash will be replaced by a single transit card.

Monthly paper tickets in paper form will also be canceled. Cards of the same type will be introduced for individuals, students and schoolchildren with special privileges.
