Toshshahartranskhizmat Responds to Bus Tyre Condition Concerns

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC has commented on a video circulated on social media regarding the condition of tyres on some King Long XMQ6180G buses operated by its “1st Bus Depot” branch.

The company stated that following the identification of defects on buses with fleet numbers 203 and 204, repair work was immediately organised at a service centre to eliminate the issues.

Toshshahartranskhizmat also noted that footage relating to bus number 208 contains outdated information. According to the company, the video was circulated on social media after the driver of that vehicle had already been dismissed.

The company further reported that disciplinary measures were taken against a duty mechanic at the “1st Bus Depot” branch for allowing a bus with technical conditions not meeting established requirements to be released onto the route.

Toshshahartranskhizmat emphasised that it continues to take necessary measures to ensure an adequate supply of tyres for its bus fleet and to maintain safe passenger transport conditions.
