Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) summed up results of charity activity in 2010. The company directed about 700 million soums to this purpose in 2010.

Corporate social responsibility is one of important parts of Beeline activity in Uzbekistan. The company supports culture, sport and education, as well as humanitarian actions directed to assisting children, people with disabilities and refugees.

Unitel Director-General Andrei Safronyuk said: “2010 was announced in Uzbekistan as the Year of Harmonically Developed Generation and we are proud that we contributed to sport achievements in Uzbekistan. Beeline supported Student Games in Andijan and Fund of Developing Children Sport. In 2010, we marked the 65th anniversary of the victory in World War Two and we express gratitude to Nuroniy Foundation for cooperation in organization of solemn ceremonies for veterans.”

Beeline renders assistance to regional and municipal authorities through its branches in the regions to help accomplishment of territories. The company also underlined that employees of the operator also support charity events.
