Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A Presidential Resolution "On measures to expand scientific approaches and further improve the management training system in the implementation of economic reforms" was adopted.
In accordance with the document, the Cabinet of Ministers creates:
Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies;
Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
The institute has the following tasks:
preparation of proposals and recommendations in the development and implementation of state programs;
study of problems and preparation of proposals for providing employment and increasing the income of the population through the efficient use and optimal distribution of land resources;
development of proposals for the formation of programs for the socio-economic development of regions;
preparation of recommendations to improve the status of the country in international ratings and indices;
study of external threats affecting the development of regions and industries, development of proposals to reduce their negative impact, etc.
The main activity of the Higher School is the preparation of masters in the specialty "Business Administration" (MBA) and other areas of economics, the implementation of postgraduate education, advanced training and retraining of representatives of ministries and departments, local khokimiyats, etc.
The Center for Land Reforms will be created as part of the Institute, and as part of the Higher School, a project office "Promotion and implementation of the green economy" and a Center for working with business incubators and start-up projects.
