Ambassador of Finland visits Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Uzbekistan with residence in Helsinki Niklas Lindqvist held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 19 November 2015.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, diplomats of Uzbekistan and Finland reviewed current state and perspectives of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. The sides exchanged opinion on some regional issues.

Officials of Uzbekistan and Finland affirmed mutual interest in continuation of practice on holding regular consultations between Foreign Ministries, strengthen direct relations between parliaments, state structures and business circles of two states.

At the meeting, the sides considered proposals on interaction between healthcare, scientific and educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Finland.
