Akmal Kamalov appointed as Uzbekistan’s envoy to Russia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Akmal Kamalov has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia Akmal Kamalov left for Moscow from Tashkent.

Prior to appointment, Akmal Kamalov worked as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan. He replaced Ziyadulla Pulatkhodjaev at this post.
