Air Marakanda Serves 138,500 Passengers in a Month

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — August marked a record month for Samarkand International Airport.

Air Marakanda handled 138,500 passengers during the month, setting a new record. The airport also recorded a record weekly passenger flow of 32,700 people.

The strongest growth was seen on routes to Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Urgench, and Khabarovsk.

These figures reflect the increasing interest in Samarkand as a major aviation hub in the region.
