Ferghana Region Expands Trade Ties with Afghanistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Ferghana Region held a series of meetings in Mazar-i-Sharif, Balkh Province, Afghanistan, aimed at expanding trade and economic cooperation and developing direct business ties between the regions.
During the visit, the delegation met with Managing Director of Kamol Nabizoda Holding Vakhitullo Mahmudiy, where the sides discussed the establishment of a Ferghana Region Trade House in Mazar-i-Sharif.
It was noted that the first shipment of products intended for the Trade House has already been delivered, and procedures for its official registration have been initiated.
The Ferghana delegation also held talks with major importers operating in Mazar-i-Sharif. Participants were presented with information on the economic and industrial potential of the region, as well as products manufactured in Fergana Region.
Afghan partners expressed interest in goods produced by enterprises in the region and noted prospects for expanding trade cooperation.
It was also emphasized that conditions have been created for direct cooperation between entrepreneurs from Fergana Region and Afghanistan, including the use of online platforms to develop business contacts and simplify trade operations.
