Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Abrorjon Pulatov has been appointed deputy head of the secretariat of the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The corresponding order was signed by the Head of the Presidential Administration.

Abrorjon Pulatov was born on 12 February 1986 in the Ferghana region. In 2006, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Tashkent Islamic University, and in 2008 from the Higher Courses of Journalism at the National University of Uzbekistan.

He holds a PhD in political science.

From 2007 to 2019, Pulatov worked at the Interior Ministry’s Main Department for Transport Security. He also served as press secretary of the Central Council of the Kamolot youth social movement, director of the private enterprise Avtoradio Media, and press secretary of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers.

In May 2022, he was appointed Director-General of the National Media Association of Uzbekistan.

Before that, Pulatov served as the association’s Deputy Director-General for Creative Affairs.
