Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent Content Market (TCM) was presented to the international media community on 2 October as part of the CICA Media Forum in Baku.
The presentation of the new platform was held with the support of Azerbaijan’s Media and Broadcasting Council. Representatives of Azerbaijan’s media industry and participants in the international forum attended the event.
Tashkent Content Market was created as a platform to promote content produced in Uzbekistan on the international market. The platform focuses on television, film, documentary, entertainment and digital content.
Through TCM, Uzbek producers will have an opportunity to present their projects to foreign television channels, digital platforms and production companies, as well as develop joint projects with international partners.
Participants in Tashkent Content Market include major international media companies and platforms, including Amazon MGM Studios, BBC Studios, CNN, Sony, Netflix, YouTube, Warner Bros., ZDF, Canal+ and TF1.
The platform is expected to expand Uzbek content producers’ access to foreign audiences and new markets, while creating opportunities for international cooperation.
Tashkent Content Market is planned to be developed further as one of the major content platforms in Central Asia.
It is expected to bring together television channels, producers, distributors and content rights holders from different countries on a single platform.
