About 34% of voters cast their votes in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Parliamentary elections are considered as having taken place, the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan said.

The commission said that 34% of 20.789 million voters of Uzbekistan casted their votes till 10:00 of Tashkent time.

In line with the article 44 of the law “On elections to Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan”, which requires at least 33% voters turnout, the elections to the Legislative Chamber are considered as having taken place.
