76-year-old man diagnosed with COVID-19 dies in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A 76-year-old resident of Uchtepa district of the capital, who was diagnosed with coronavirus on 28 May, died in a multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

A man was treated with a diagnosis of hepatitis, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, chronic heart failure.

On 31 May, for health reasons, he was transferred to the intensive care unit. Despite resuscitation procedures, the patient connected to the ventilator died from cardiopulmonary failure.

The Ministry of Health reports that the wife, child and grandchildren of the deceased also contracted the COVID-19.
