Zafarbek Karimov becomes the cadet world champion in taekwondo

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The World Taekwondo Championship among cadets ended successfully for the team of Uzbekistan on 9 August.

Zafarbek Karimov (-41 kg) faced t Amirhuseyn Noruzi (Iran) in the final bout of the World Taekwondo Championship among cadets. The battle ended in favor of our compatriot, with a score of 31:11.

This is the second medal in the piggy bank of the national team of Uzbekistan. Yesterday, Muhammadamin Aliyev, in the -41 kg weight category, became the bronze medalist of the World Championships.
