World Figure Skating Championships canceled

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The World Figure Skating Championships were postponed in March have been canceled all together due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The International Skating Union (ISU) adopted the decision at a meeting on Thursday.

The ISU said it would consider rescheduling the event within this year. But it concluded that is not possible under the current circumstances.

The competitions were to be held in Montreal, Canada.
