Uzbektelecom Assigned ‘BB’ Rating by Fitch Ratings

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The international credit rating agency Fitch Ratings has affirmed Uzbektelecom JSC’s Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at ‘BB’ with a Stable Outlook.

The company’s Standalone Credit Profile (SCP) was assessed at ‘BB–’, one of the strongest ratings among corporate entities in Uzbekistan.

According to Fitch analysts, the rating reflects Uzbektelecom’s market leadership in telecommunications, solid financial position, and growth in digital services.

Fitch noted that the company’s well-developed industry infrastructure, successfully implemented investment projects, and stable revenue base further reinforce its financial resilience and creditworthiness.
