Uzbekistan’s GDP exceeds 61.056 trln. soums in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The volume of gross domestic product of Uzbekistan reached 61.056 trillion soums at current prices in January-June 2014, which grew by 8.1% year-on-year, according to preliminary data, posted by the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

The committee said that in the structure of GDP by forms of ownership the share of the non-state sector was 80.8% and that of the state sector – 19.2%.

Share of goods production in structure of the GDP made 35.7% in January-June 2014 (36% in January-June 2013) and service production – 52.7% (52.4%).

Net taxes on products and export-import operations made up 11.6% in the GDP structure in January-June 2014 (11.6% in 1H 2013).
