Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China has exported Simmental cattle to Uzbekistan for the first time, Xinhua reports.
The batch of animals was dispatched from the Wuzhong National Agricultural Science and Technology Park. It comprised 274 head of Simmental cattle and 51 Holstein dairy cows.
To deliver the animals to Uzbekistan, motor transport will cover a route stretching approximately 4,300 kilometers.
According to local authorities, customs bodies implemented special measures to ensure that the exported livestock complies with veterinary and sanitary requirements.
According to the Chinese side, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has already supplied more than 1,100 head of live cattle to Uzbekistan since November 2025.
