Uzbekistan and Poland Discuss Logistics Hub Project
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Representatives of Uzbekistan and Poland discussed the possibility of establishing a logistics hub in Poland to facilitate the delivery of Uzbek products to the European Union and other international markets. The talks took place during a business mission by the Uzbek delegation to Poland.
The meeting was attended by Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Amirsaid Azamkhodjayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Poland, and Michał Kamiński, Deputy Marshal of the Senate of Poland.
The parties discussed prospects for further developing trade and economic relations, expanding investment cooperation and strengthening ties between the business communities of the two countries.
One of the main topics of the talks was the establishment of a logistics centre to improve the delivery of Uzbek products to the European market. According to the participants, the initiative would expand export opportunities for Uzbek manufacturers, speed up product distribution and open new supply routes.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue practical work on implementing the project, strengthen contacts between the business communities and promote the development of joint initiatives.
