Mining Ministry discusses cooperation with Japan's Marubeni

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan, Feruza Khamidova, held a meeting with a delegation from the Japanese company Marubeni Corporation, led by the General Manager of the Nuclear Fuel Department, Narita Teppei.

During the talks, representatives of the company were briefed on the core business areas of Marubeni Corporation and projects already implemented in Uzbekistan. The delegation expressed interest in the further development of cooperation with enterprises in the mining industry.

The parties discussed the prospects of introducing digital solutions aimed at increasing the efficiency of production processes and exchanged views on the application of modern technologies in the mining sector.

Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their interest in the further development of interaction in areas of mutual interest.
