Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Turnover in Uzbekistan’s food service sector reached 208.7 trillion soums in January–August 2026, increasing by 26.7% in real terms compared with the same period a year earlier, according to the National Statistics Committee.
As of 1 September 2026, Uzbekistan had 30,390 commercial enterprises operating in the food service sector.
Of these, 148 were classified as large enterprises, while the remaining 30,242 were small businesses and microfirms, the committee reported.
