Uzbekistan Wins Three Medals at Asian Judo Champs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The first day of competition at the Asian Judo Championships in Ordos, China, concluded with Uzbekistan successfully opening its medal tally at the tournament.

In the lightweight divisions, Uzbek judokas secured three medals of different denominations — two silver and one bronze.

Silver medals were won by Laziza Khaydarova in the under-48 kg category and Sita Kadamboyeva in the under-52 kg category. The bronze medal in the under-60 kg division went to Samariiddin Kuchkorov.

The results of the opening day enabled Uzbekistan to make a strong start at the Asian Judo Championships.
