Nearly 230 km of Water Supply Networks Added in H1
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A total of 229.7 kilometers of water supply networks were commissioned in Uzbekistan in January–June 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The vast majority of the new networks were constructed in rural areas, accounting for 205.9 kilometers, or 89.6% of the total volume.
The largest length of commissioned water pipelines was recorded in the Samarkand Region, where 94.6 kilometers were put into service.
A total of 70.2 kilometers of water supply networks were commissioned in the Jizzakh Region, while 42.9 kilometers were added in the Ferghana Region.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the length of operationalized networks reached 22 kilometers.
Consequently, these four regions accounted for all 229.7 kilometers of water supply networks brought into service across the country during the first six months of the year.
