Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s team became the overall champion of the international robotics competition FIRST Global Challenge 2026, winning three gold medals and finishing first among teams from 185 countries.
The championship was held from 7 to 10 October in Incheon, South Korea.
According to StartupBase, the Uzbek team won all 16 of its matches and scored 637 points, setting a competition record.
The result provides further evidence of the potential of Uzbekistan’s young people in robotics, engineering and advanced technology.
