Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Some Yandex Go services in Uzbekistan were temporarily unavailable or experienced disruptions on 11 October, with Yandex Uzbekistan confirming technical problems and saying specialists were working to restore the platform.

The company has not provided an exact timeline for resolving the issue. Yandex Uzbekistan also did not clarify whether the disruptions in Uzbekistan were connected to an incident affecting Yandex infrastructure in Russia.

“Some Yandex Go services in Uzbekistan are currently unavailable or experiencing disruptions. We cannot yet give an exact timeline, but we will share verified information here. We very much look forward to being able to help you with your daily tasks again,” Yandex Uzbekistan said.

On the morning of 11 October, Yandex Cloud reported damage to data centre infrastructure in Vladimir following a drone attack. Operations at the facility were completely halted. The company said there were no casualties and that relevant emergency services were working at the site.

Initially, specialists detected power supply disruptions in one of Yandex Cloud’s availability zones. The cloud platform was subsequently switched to emergency mode, and some services were redirected to other zones. Some components continued operating with restrictions.

Users in other countries also reported problems with Yandex services. In Russia, disruptions affected Yandex Go, Yandex Eats, Yandex Maps, Yandex Pro and several third-party services that rely on the company’s cloud infrastructure.

Yandex Uzbekistan said it would provide further information once details of the incident and the timeline for restoring services had been confirmed.
