Uzbekistan, US Discuss Expanding Geological Research Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The University of Geological Sciences hosted a meeting with a delegation from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) on 14 July to discuss prospects for expanding scientific cooperation.

The talks focused on geological mapping, broadening joint research activities, organizing scientific seminars and training sessions, developing the university's laboratory facilities, and implementing prospective joint projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their interest in further strengthening cooperation, supporting scientific research and training qualified specialists in the field of geology.
